Alpha Sigma Phi

The Theta Pi Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at the University of Kansas is the embodiment of a brotherhood that lives out its ideals, stands up for each another, and maintains a strong focus on education and philanthropy—all values you cherish out of bright young men in the 21st century. Alpha Sigma Phi strives to be a positive example of Greek Life both at the University of Kansas and the United States.

To Better the Man.

Brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi comprise a unique group of individuals spanning nearly every professional school and countless student-led organizations at the university. Moreover, because of the diversity in our chapter, we gladly challenge the typical “frat” stereotype found in Greek culture and strive to live out our motto, ‘To Better the Man.’

To Better the World.

Walking in the footsteps of the Alpha Chapter, Theta Pi at KU seeks to live out the Five Values of Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, and Patriotism through our integrity and commitment to each other. Our Five National Philanthropic Partners correspond with these values. Our brothers show their commitment to Bettering the World through Better Men by completing 10 hours of service per a semester as well raising $50 a semester for our listed Philanthropies. In the 2021-2022 School Year, our Chapter raised over $6500 across our 5 Philanthropic Partners.

Build Your Own Legacy.

Alpha Sigma Phi at the University of Kansas gives its members the opportunity to create a legacy rather than just join one. Our chapter was founded in 2016, chartered in 2019, and acquired our chapter house in 2020. Our short History at KU gives all members joining the opportunity to build Alpha Sigma Phi’s Legacy at KU.
